Golden Sands Condo Rentals by Ocean City Condos

This was a vacation we will never forget. The Tiki bar was absolutely amazing, tell Kristi we said hey if you stop in. The arcade rooms were a little outdated, but don't let that ruin anything. There is so much more to do. Swimming pool/Gym are on the 22nd floor with an amazing view. The sauna wasn't working properly but we got a good workout in the gym then pool with an awesome view. All in all i have to give this place 5 stars no complaints.

We had such an amazing time at the Golden Sands Condo!!! I can’t believe some of the bad reviews I was reading before we went. I guess all rooms are different, but ours was perfect! We were in 313, perfect for a family of 4. I had read a lot of reviews about the golden sands being dirty, but everything in the room was very clean! Fresh bag of towels, linens, toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap/sponges, laundry pods- while on the subject of laundry, we booked through Airbnb and in description we were thinking it didn’t have a washer/dryer but it actually had a really nice stacked washer/dryer tucked away in closet! It has a perfect ocean view (the whole wall and balcony is glass). It has a tiki bar restaurant and seating area with fast service and amazing drinks!!! We were shocked how delicious the food was! It also has a beach shop, ice cream shop, deli/bakery and arcade right off the patio area! It has a 1ft fenced in pool which my 3 and 5 year old spent most of their time at! There’s always an employee or security gaurd around somewhere for all your needs. We will for sure be going back next year!

Hey! I love this place not expensive and very clean! Ocean front is the best thing!The sound of the waves at night! And the fireworks on the beach is amazing I love all the little shops under the rooms great ice cream lol! Will come back soon and very nice people there to make friends with! Love the pool and the baby pool for my family It’s a little loud at 9:00 or 10:00 but it’s VK so who cares lol! Love the little food bar!

Beachy! All rooms here are Oceanfront, so it was very nice. We had an 8th floor room and that was perfect for privacy and yet still down close enough to the music & water. Beautiful sunrises were just the start of a wonderful vacation! The convenient shops on ground walk out to the beach were great and we couldn't wait to get back to the tiki bar! The beach here got somewhat crowded but probably no worse than other spots in this town during IN season. Stake your spot early AM! Grocery store and other necessities were only a short drive away, however with the built-in shops here, you almost don't have to go anywhere else!

Just finished our stay today in unit 1906. Comfortable condo. Really nice updated kitchen. Just a shame that the first thing that catches your eye when entering is the horrbly stained carpet. Overall a nice condo but definitely needs a few updates and the carpet certainly needs to be addressed. Overall we love the Golden Sands even though it is showing its age in certain areas.

I will never stay here again. The location is ideal and the tiki bar area is nice, but that’s it. Pool is nice, but cement surrounding it has holes and cracks. It’s also not hosed down nightly. Only 2 out of 4 elevators worked the week we stayed. Most days I endured walking down the 19 floors in the hot smelly stairwell, but couldn’t after a water main break flooded the stairwell causing everyone to evacuate with sirens blaring. Hallways are incredibly dark. Our condo was a nice layout and showers were nice, but The plugs in televisions, hairdryers, etc fell out of receptacles because plugs need to be replaced, do tv rarely worked. Carpet needs to be shampooed, there was paper and crumbs under the couch, cracks and holes in walls should be fixed.

Would not recommend renting 1401. We drove 9 hours to arrive at a filthy room. The kitchen smelled horribly and had not been properly cleaned, there was sand over the floors and under furniture. We requested a refund or someone to come clean it so a cleaner came and mopped the floors, we told her we want the kitchen cleaned as well but it never got cleaned.
